March Community Lunch
On the last Wednesday of every month the St. Mark Women’s League sponsors a free community lunch. This month’s lunch was well attended on a beautiful, sunny spring day. Pulled pork sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, salad an deserts were the lunch of the day. The St. Mark church bus, “Prayer Force One” headed to the Geauga Senior Center in Chesterland and picked a fun group that sang all the way to St. Mark and all the way back to the Senior Center.…
September Community Lunch
Every Month the Womens League at St.Mark sponsors a community lunch that is free to the public. This months lunch was special because for the first time, the church bus, known as Prayerforce One picked up a number of people at the Geauga Senior Center located in Chesterland and brought them to the lunch. St. Mark Picnic
After the 9:45 service on Sunday August 28, 2016, the St. Mark congregation gathered under the Pavilion behind the church for the St. Mark annual picnic. As with most Lutheran functions, a meal was the center of attention. One of the pictures shows Tom Holt, instructing Dave Toth Jr. on the finer points of grilling hot dogs. A Weekend of Fellowship at St. Mark Chesterland
Play Ball, Play Golf, “We all scream for Ice Cream!!” Last weekend at St. Mark started off with a number of our members attending the Lake Erie Captains baseball game. The Captains came up short but the fireworks after the game were spectacular! On Saturday, the Saint Mark youth had an ice cream social under the pavilion behind the church, basketball and corn hole games were on the agenda on a beautiful summer evening in Northeast Ohio.
