St. Mark members, Lee Stone and Jackie and Mark Rychel have traveled to Haiti to do mission work. They carried 6 luggage bags of 50 pounds each, filled with clothes, vitamins, tooth brushes and tooth paste plus other humanitarian supplies .
During their 12 day stay they will visit hospitals, hold vacation bible schools, participate in feeding 120 needy children twice per week.
The team will also update pictures and information on the children in the school sponsorship program.
They will also help in installing electricity to the Center of refuge Orphanage. Solar panels, an inverter and generator. This work is able to be done by the generous donations to Ministry In Mission, Recognized Service Organization of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, that has its roots in the St. Mark Lutheran Chesterland
