Often described as the “Spiritual Soul” of the St. Mark congregation, Bill Maiden had his 95th birthday celebrated on Sunday Nov. 27 in the St. Mark Fellowship Hall. For those of you that don’t know Bill listen to the “Voices of Faith” interview by Pastor Matzke below.
The members of St. Mark love and cherish Bill. We are grateful for his living faith that he shares with all that he come in contact with.

What a blessing Bill Maiden is. My Grandmother (Irene McConnell) worked with him at Geauga Community Hospital in Chardon, Ohio. She would always talk about Bill at our house and how much she loved and respected him. As I officiated her funeral in January of 2003, we all looked up and there was Bill, which brought tears to our eyes! It was one of the coldest days of the year! Blessings, Bill…it was great to hear your voice in this recording, and we thank God for bringing you into our lives.
