Midweek Advent Service

We can help you get into the Christmas spirit!   Attending Advent services will help build anticipation and excitement in your heart for the celebration of the birth of the Christ child.  We will be holding services in both the afternoon and evening on the following Wednesdays – 12/4, 12/11, and 12/18  at 11:30 am (traditional) and 7pm (contemporary).

Good News Study

NEW Sunday Bible Study–Beginning September 22, Pastor Mark will lead a course called “Good News” duringthe Education Hour. This eight-week study is ideal for those interested in learning more about Lutheran Christianity.Whether you are starting to consider membership at St. Mark or have been a lifelong Lutheran, there is Good Newsfor you! GIFT OF THE MAGI CHRISTMAS BOUTIQUE

Offered this year is a beautiful  blue & white quilt by Geauga County Fair Blue Ribbon award winner, Nancy Seabrook, entitled “All Stars”.  With twenty different patterns, this quilt is both traditional yet modern.  The dimensions are 57 inches by 72 inches.  Tickets are $2.00 each or 3/$5.00.  The drawing will take place December 8th and the winner need not be present.

Special One Service Sunday, Outdoors !

St. Mark Congregational Outdoor Worship and Picnic Rain or Shine: Don’t miss the opportunity to worship as one at our single service next Sunday, June 30th.The praise will begin at 11 am- bring your family, friends, and your lawn chairs! St. Mark Book Club

Book Club will be postponed a month in light of Ted Holt’s memorial service. We will discuss the biographies/autobiographies/memoirs on May 8th. June 12th’s book will be Ladies of the Lake by Cathy Gohlke.
