On Thursday, March 13, 2025, members of St. Mark gathered in Fellowship Hall on the St. Mark campus to start charting the future for the next five years at St.Mark.
Rev. John Glover from the Lutheran Church Extention Fund (LCEF) traveled to St. Mark from Orlando, Florida, to lead a discussion centered around a congregational survey that was completed several weeks before this event.
The goal is to compose a “North Star” statement that is based on what Jesus has called us to be and what Jesus has called us to do, over the next five years.
There was a lively discussion and a lot of great ideas, the main emphasis being the sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with Chesterland and the surrounding community.
Each participant wrote a “North Star ” statement on note cards, which were collected for review at a future meeting.
