Sunday School

The new youth Sunday school year begins Sept.8, 2024 !  All of the children in our congregation who are in Kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to join our mixed grade class to learn about Jesus!  Each week the class includes a Bible story lesson along with hands-on crafts and games.  Our Sunday school is intentionally structured to allow the teachers to build strong relationships with the youth.  Once again, Kim Craig, Tracy Deets, and Peggy Kump will be volunteering…

Pastor Led Longer Look at the lessons-In Person Study

Community Free Lunch

Join Us for lunch! On the last Wednesday of each month from 11am-1pm, our Women’s League hosts people from Chesterland and the surrounding community for a FREE lunch.  The menu varies each month, but generally includes a main dish, side dish and dessert.  It is served in our Fellowship Hall and no reservations are needed.  Bring a friend and enjoy great food and fun. Men’s Fellowship Breakfast

The second Saturday of every month, the men of St. Mark informally gather at The Coffee Post on 12626 Chillicothe Rd. in Chesterland at 8:30 am to have breakfast and hear a short message by various speakers. Book club

St. Mark’s Book Club: March 12th’s book will be The Book Woman’s Daughter  by Kim Michele Richardson. Join us as we discuss this powerful story of female resilience set in 1950’s Appalachia.  We will be meeting at 1 p.m. in the small dining room off of St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall.  Feel free to pack a lunch and join us after the midday, midweek Lenten Service at 12:30pm for extra fun.
