St. Mark Christian Preschool Open House. Our mission is to offer a Christ-centered option for parents who want a hands-on curriculum which will prepare their children for success in Kindergarten. Sharing The Good News at Trinity Ohio City
On Saturday Feb 17, 2024, St. Mark members along side members of Trinity Lutheran Ohio City, (TOC) and St. Peter’s , Shaker Heights, served home made Chili and corn bread along with delicious white cake, decorated with bible verses, to the homeless and disadvantaged residents of the local neighborhood. Serving those in Need
On Saturday, July 15, 2023, St. Mark members hosted a fried chicken dinner for those in need in the Ohio City neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. The social hall at Trinity Lutheran Church was the venue. St. Mark serves this meal monthly, which has become a great opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ along with the meal. April Community Lunch
On a sunny but cool April 26, St. Mark opened its doors to the community and served a delicious lunch of an unstuffed cabbage casserole, apple sauce, rolls and homemade desserts. The lunch is served on the last Wednesday of the month at no charge to those attending. It is a great time to catch up with neighbors and friends, especially now after a long winter. Lutheran East Students Partner with St. Mark
On January 21, 2023, Students from Lutheran East High School partnered with the members of St. Mark and served a meal to the homeless and needy at the Trinity Lutheran social hall in Ohio City. Helping Those In Need
St. Mark’s newly formed “St. Mark Toolbox” is a ministry for those members of our congregation, that have needs in their home that they can’t take care of. Recently, a member asked if we could stain a small deck on the back of their house. The couple is getting along in age and couldn’t do it themselves. St. Mark along with Trinity Lutheran in Ohio City hosts a monthly meal for those in need on the third Saturday of every month. Last Saturday, August 20, we were joined by students and faculty from Lutheran East High School, In addition to the delicious pulled pork sandwiches made by the St. Mark Women’s League, the GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST WAS PROCLAIMED , both in word and by tracts given out by Trinity members.
