Fellowship at Danny Boys

On February 18, 2017 the fellowship committee at St. Mark sponsored a dinner at Danny Boys restaurant in Chesterland OH. Fellowship is an important part of the St. Mark ministry. With three services on a Sunday, it’s hard to get to meet everyone. Having fellowship events both at church and at different venues promotes friendship and lots of fun. Special thanks to Donna Robinson for the great pictures

For those that were not clam eaters, a chicken dinner was available.  Thanks to the Fellowship Committee for another fun event. Thanks to Kirk Jacobson for the pictures

Great Things Are Happening – St. Mark Youth

Great things are happening… The weekly Jr. High and High School Youth Group is starting on October 16 at 6:00 p.m. and we need your help. Do you have a passion to walk beside the youth and support and guide them through these teen years? Can you help pour into them the simple message that God loves them – no matter how they see themselves? Can you help guide them as they make caring and supportive connections with each other…

St. Mark Picnic

After the 9:45 service on Sunday August 28, 2016, the St. Mark congregation gathered under the Pavilion behind the church for the St. Mark annual picnic.  As with most Lutheran functions, a meal was the center of attention. One of the pictures shows Tom Holt, instructing Dave Toth Jr. on the finer points of grilling hot dogs. Jack Shaw was manning the grill on the hamburger side. Notice the tents behind the picnic tables, they house great bargains for the…

Cleansing of the Chairs at St. Mark 😉

Once every fifty years   a number of volunteers at St. Mark get together for the “ritual” of chair cleansing. Seriously, we are grateful for the volunteers that got together on Saturday to power wash and scrub our fellowship hall chairs that have served us well. Young and old got together to man the power washers and brushes and rags ( Gayle Fecsik’s dog also participated). It is fun when brothers and sisters in Christ get together and do a project…

A Weekend of Fellowship at St. Mark Chesterland

Play Ball, Play Golf, “We all scream for Ice Cream!!” Last weekend at St. Mark started off with a number of our members attending the Lake Erie Captains baseball game.
