July, 2016 Men’s Fellowship Breakfast
The first Saturday of every month (this month, moved to the second Saturday, due to the Independence Day holiday), the men of St. Mark informally gather at the Rise and Dine Restaurant in Chesterland at 9 am to have breakfast and hear a short message by various speakers. A Weekend of Fellowship at St. Mark Chesterland
Play Ball, Play Golf, “We all scream for Ice Cream!!” Last weekend at St. Mark started off with a number of our members attending the Lake Erie Captains baseball game. The Captains came up short but the fireworks after the game were spectacular! On Friday, May 20th, the Plant Sale PreSale and Silent auction was held at St. Mark’s. This was a great time of fellowship for the members of St. Mark and friends in our community.
A Celebration of Mothers
On Saturday May 7, 2016 the St. Mark Women’s League sponsored a luncheon that celebrated mothers day. It was great to see all he moms and their kids. Entertainment was provided by the “Cordials”, a 4 part a cappella quartet

St. Mark serves at Building Hope in The City
On April 30,2106 a group of adults and youth boarded the St. Mark bus, soon to be know as Prayerforce One, and headed to downtown Cleveland to Building Hope In the City, an outreach to the community by Trinity Lutheran Church. St. Mark members cooked home made meatloaf and brought the meatloaves to the church. In addition to the meatloaves, St. Mark members donated clothing for the Building Hope in the city clothing store and canned goods for their outreach pantry. All…

A Fun Day at St. Mark Christian Preschool
Last Wednesday I had the opportunity to spend most of the day photographing the activities at St. Mark Christian Preschool. The activity was fast paced. Observing creative drawing and coloring, meeting Pastor Matske and Frederick the fish in Chapel, watching the free spirits of the children as they waved pink chiffon material in the air to music, to playing on tricycles, listening to Mrs. Burke read about Smelly Bear to marching to music and finally a restful healthy snack.
