Tailgate at trinity Ohio City
On July 18, 2020, St. Mark and Trinity Ohio City combined for a Baseball themed tailgate outside on the cul de sac in front of Trinity Ohio City Church. 60th Anniversary Music Event at St. Mark
On March, 7th, St. Mark hosted a community music event at St. Mark to celebrate 60 years in ministry. The event featured a wide variety of performances, classical music, barbershop harmony, Irish dancers, gospel music and contemporary Christian music. Serving those in Need at Trinity Lutheran
St. Mark has partnered with Trinity Lutheran in Ohio City for many years. We serve a community meal once per month, help stock the Trinity food pantry and bring clothes for their clothing outreach. February has been exceptionally busy, St. Mark held a “Stuff the Bus” event and we loaded “Prayer Force One, ” the church bus with donated clothes, particularly men’s clothes, which were in need. On Feb. 8, 2020, the wildly popular St. Mark Chili cook-off happened. The hungry audience sampled from 11 selections of Chili. The fare included Mom’s Chili, Bison Chili and a “deer “favorite, Bison Chili. After an exceedingly close vote, Tom Holt’s “Addiction Special” won for the best Chili and expert chef Ray Gleske, a winner from 2 years ago, took the most original medal. 2020 Annual Women’s Luncheon
On January 18, 2020, the women of St. Mark braved the icy, snowy, rainy weather to attend the annual women’s luncheon. This year’s venue was St. Denis golf course in Chardon Ohio. An interesting program about “Oils of Ancient Scripture” by St. Mark member Marti Jacobson and her associate Stacey Kelly, representing Young Living Consultants, an essential oils distributor, was enjoyed by all.

January Men’s Breakfast
On January 4, 2020, the men St. Mark held their monthly breakfast. This first men’s breakfast of the new year was a changing of the guard. For the first time in 12 years, Ron Cudnik and Pastor Ken Welsh were not the organizers. Bruce Robinson and Ron Meister have taken on the responsibility of organizing the men’s breakfast. A St.Mark – Trinity Lutheran Christmas
On December 21, 2019, members of St. Mark joined in a caravan of cars led by the St. Mark church bus “Prayer Force One” to Trinity Lutheran in Ohio City to hold a joint Chrismas Party for the homeless and needy. St. Mark members collected hygiene supplies over the previous 3 weeks and members of the Tuesday Morning Bible study at St. Mark assembled them in Christmas gift bags. On the last Wednesday of each month St. Mark hosts a delicious lunch for all that wish to attend at a special price. FREE !! Sunday, Dec. 15 at St. Mark featured a birthday party at the St. Mark Sunday school, including Christmas Carols, fun and games a beautifully decorated cake and reading out loud of the story of the birth of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ from the bible, students took turns reading.
