22 men met together for breakfast on Dec 14, 2024 at the Coffee Post in downtown Chesterland, OH. This month’s speaker at the monthly breakfast, sponsored by St. Mark Lutheran Church in Chesterland OH, was member George Fretz who had just returned from a mission trip to Thailand. George, a US pilot had served in Vietnam and after leaving the service contacted The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod to do mission work in Vietnam after the war. They said we don’t have anyone in Vietnam to assist you right now but how about Thailand. He has been going there ever since.
George passed out wooden coins used to share the Gospel with children in Thailand and sang a song they taught the kids. George is an avid pickleball player, shared the good news while showing people how to play pickleball,
At St. Mark, we are grateful for how the Lord has used George to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
The monthly breakfast is open to anyone who wants to come. We meet at the Coffee Post, 12626 Chillicothe Rd. Chesterland, OH, 44026. The breakfast takes place at 8:30 am on the second Tuesday of each month.
