Every month members of St. Mark board the church bus “Prayer Force One” and drive to Trinity Lutheran Church in Ohio City to serve a meal and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Partnering with the members of Trinity on a monthly basis allows us to get to know the people we serve, the homeless, and the disadvantaged.
Dave from Trinity shares a bible passage and message before each meal. One man, whose name was also Dave, was extremely distraught about not having a place to live. He was speaking loudly during Dave’s message. Dave stopped and asked quickly asked for the man’s attention. This was Dave’s next verse from Matthew Chapter 6 “Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”
The man heard the message. There are no coincidences, Praise the Lord.
